Registration at the Residents Office

If you do not live in Giessen or Friedberg itself, but in one of the surrounding constituencies you will have to register there. Please ask for the "Stadtbüro", the "Stadtverwaltung" or the "Einwohnermeldeamt".

If you change your address later in your studies you will have to inform the residents' registration office. This is also true for change of name or martial status.
