Welcome and Mentoring
The THM offers bridging courses "Brückenkurse " for new students before the start of the semester. In these courses you can refresh your knowledge in mathematics, chemistry and physics. Ask for dates and course contents at the Central Study Advisory.All new students get information about the date, time and contents of the welcome and mentoring events, which are held on the first day of each semester. The welcome event brings together the new students, the lecturers and the staff responsible for social and administrative services. The students get a first introduction to the different aspects and services of the THM.
Afterwards the new students will get together in small mentoring groups. A student from a higher semester will act as mentor and show the students around. Furthermore the mentor will give information about the study program, about the timetable, exams and answer questions the new students may have. This is especially valuable for foreign students who may come from a totally different study system in their home countries.
Please use the welcome and mentoring events to get all necessary information for your studies and to get in contact with your fellow students.
