Transportation

A share of the social fee, which you have to pay every semester, is used for the semester ticket. The semester ticket is valid in the trains, metros, underground-trains and busses of the RMV (Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund). This means that you can travel in a large part of Hessen without having to pay for every single ride.

PLEASE NOTICE:
The Student ID (chipcard) is simultaneously your semester ticket.

The semester ticket is NOT valid in the ICE  trains of the "Deutsche Bahn". For further information please refer to the Student Union (ASTA)
