Subsidies for job equipment & Seminars on returning home and career entry
World University Service (WUS) organises information events for return-interested specialists and executives. Those events focus on specific countries. In addition WUS also organises the APA-Program (workplace equipment).Support for the workplace equipment can be requested with WUS under certain conditions up to two years after the return to the home country.

Business start-up loan
Country-specific loans for specialists from Afghanistan, Eritrea, Croatia, Palestinian Territories and Vietnam.Citizens of these countries, who acquired technical, industry-specific and business qualification in Germany, can request a long-term business start-up loan.
The consultation and application for the loan is made by the respective partner banks of the German Investment and Development Company (Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG)) in the respective countries.

Specialist Associations
The Zentralstelle für Arbeitsvermittlung (ZAV) in co-operation with the World University Service (WUS) advances the Specialist Associations. The activities are supported by Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) in the context of their reintegration programmes.
Specialist Associations serve as a support for future repatriates. They help with the search for adequate jobs and advise potential founders of new businesses.
For countries such as Africa and Asia: further Specialist Associations dealing with migration and development co-operation are supported by the Working Group Development and Specialists (Arbeitsgruppe Entwicklung und Fachkräfte (AGEF)).

Reintegration programme for specialists with or without professional experience
The Protestant Development Service (Evangelischer Entwicklungsdienst (EED)) organises the RE-Programme (reintegration programme for specialists without professional experience) and the REO-Programme (reintegration programme for specialists with professional experience). Specialists from developing countries, who are living in Germany, are placed at local and international partner organisations of the EED.Conditions for the application:
- Nationality of a country in Africa, Asia or Latin America,
- at least two-year stay in Germany and good command of the German language,
- completed professional training and at least two years professional experience in a relevant vocational field,
- preoccupation with tasks and problems of development co-operation and interest in an activity in this area in their home country,
- Desire for a durable repatriation to the home country.
Support from the programme:
- Support for additional cost in regarding to departure
- Travel expenses
- Luggage transport
- Health and accident insurance for the first three months after departure
- Reintegration support
