The cities of Giessen and Friedberg (link to Google maps) are situated in the Rhine-Main-Region close to the economic centre and international airport Frankfurt. The two university-locations combine the amenities of small and middle sized cities with lots of green spaces in the cities and a wonderful landscape just outside your door-step.
e.media 2012 will be held in Friedberg, a town of 28.000 inhabitants, where about 5.500 of our students are educated. The international city of Frankfurt can be reached in less than 30 minutes by public transportation. Friedberg is very popular with tourists, as you can discover a beautiful historic old town with the largest area of medieval castle-remains in Germany.
