Short Description
Managing Human Resources is a responsibility for each manager.Students gain required knowledge with a view of an HR Manager - from personnel planning to payroll.
Learning Objectives

The students
• Have knowledge in the tasks and challenges in Human Re-source Management
• Can apply instruments and tools in in their future Management role whereby independently and responsibly performing Personnel work.
• Can independently take over personnel management tasks.
• Are able to direct staff and teams.

The students gain an overview how one defines personnel work nowadays and how modern companies apply state-of-the-art personnel management
Key issues of Human Resource Management will be addressed theoretically and in case studies:
  • Staffing requirements, personnel marketing and recruitment
  • Selection and appointment of staff
  • Personnel development, mentoring, performance and talent management
  • Staff relations, fluctuation and downsizing
  • Staff motivation, moderation and coaching
