The rooms of Lernort+ are designed to meet the needs of THM members and offer various areas for working in quiet, focused, or collaborative atmospheres. Group workrooms and individual workstations can be reserved via the workspace booking system

In developing the consultingand course offerings for THM members, the focus is on the areas of informationand writing skills . The Lernort+ is represented both within and outside the university curriculum with courses and consultations. These include, for example, writing consultations, writing workshops, and courses such as "Fit for the Thesis" and "Organizing Knowledge." The university library awards credit points within the framework of courses.

The university library is also open to collaboration with partner organizations ; for example, the Friedberg Learning Center offers tutorials at the Friedberg library location. The university-wide working group developed the guidelines for academic writing, which were adopted by the university senate . Together with the university's IT service and the Center for Computing and Learning (ZekoLL ), the digital services for students are presented as part of the introductory course (STEP). A guide for academic writing in industrial engineering is maintained in cooperation with the Department of Industrial Engineering .
