In the library, all print media are arranged systematically, i.e., by subject area, so that you can find related print media in one place. The classification system assigns a letter-number combination (notation) to each subject area. For example, print media on general business administration are located under the notation 675.

For some catalog entries, you will find so-called key letters on the shelf and on the call number label. These keys group specific publication types within a system location:
for example, wir 675 a. The key letter "a" stands for encyclopedias. Under this entry, you will find all encyclopedias available in the library for general business administration.
