The university library's resources for developing writing skills cover the entire writing process, from topic selection to submitting the finished work. These resources focus on typical university text types, such as term papers, lab reports, and bachelor's theses.

Planning can draw on a study on writing skills conducted by the university library with support from the ZQE in 2014. As part of the study, all students at THM were surveyed about their writing skills and available support services.
