Access to eMedia

Licensed eMedia from the university library are available to members of THM.

This includes databases , eBooks and eJournals .

Depending on the provider of the eMedia, there are different access methods:

  1. Accessible via IP check, i. e. on the THM campus network WLAN

    Note regarding VPN:

    When using the VPN client, it is important that you first log in to the program with your THM user ID and the corresponding network password, and only then open your browser to conduct your research. Failure to follow this sequence may result in your browser remaining within your private IP environment ( see video tutorial ).
  2. via Shibboleth login, i. e. you can log in with your THM user ID ( video tutorial ).
  3. via registration with a THM email address.

eBooks can be found via THMfind .

The file formats and usage options of eBooks can vary depending on the eBook provider.
