If you are using Microsoft Windows, open the application "Team-Monitor.exe" and check if you are using the current version 12.10.2023 .
If not, you can find the current version here
Please log out if you wish to end the session.
Are you using the Team Monitor for the first time?
Screen sharing works with Windows and Linux. Instructions are provided below.
Windows
To use the Team Monitor, first download the zip file "Team-Monitor.zip" and extract (unzip) it. This will create a new directory called "Team-Monitor". This process only needs to be performed once per device.
To establish a connection to the Team Monitor, open the "Team Monitor" directory and run the "Team Monitor.exe" application located therein.
The first time you run the "Team-Monitor.exe" application, you may see a message from "Microsoft Defender SmartScreen" indicating an unknown app. Select "Run anyway".
It may take a few seconds for the application to start.
In the application, select the correct device from the list of team monitors (see sticker in the bottom left corner of the monitor).
If you have logged into the team monitor with your user ID and PIN, the following view will initially appear on the team monitor:
Next, start screen sharing according to the instructions above. You are now on the navigation page:
You can now start screen sharing as described above.
