Association for Computing Machinery (ACM Open)
The THM ACM contract, with a term of 2024-2026, enables THM researchers to have their articles published in hybrid subscription journals, gold open access journals, magazines and various proceedings of the publisher (su) in open access at no cost to themselves.

Elsevier
The contract between THM and Elsevier within the framework of the DEAL project, with a duration from 01.09.2023-31.12.2028, enables THM researchers to publish Open Access in subscription journals (Hybrid Open Access) free of charge.

Hybrid Open Access (Elsevier Core Hybrid)
In all journals marked "Core Hybrid" or "CP/TL Hybrid" (table sheet "included", column "Bucket"), publishing is free for all authors affiliated with THM. The costs of the publication process are centrally financed by THM through the DEAL participation fee.
Gold Open Access
In all journals marked with “Core Gold” or “CP/TL Gold” (table sheet “included”, column “Bucket”), publishing is discounted for all authors affiliated with THM.
- Core Gold: 20% discount on list prices
- CP/TL Gold: 15% discount on list prices
The remaining publication costs for “corresponding authors” of THM may be fully or partially financed through the THM publication fund for journal articles

Scientific.Net - Trans Tech Publications Ltd.
The contract with THM Trans Tech Publications Ltd., with a term until the end of 2026, enables THM researchers to publish their articles in the full-text database Scientific.Net in hybrid journals, hybrid conference proceedings and open-access journals without limit and without additional costs.

SPIE
The international society for optics and photonics (SPIE)
The THM SPIE agreement allows THM researchers to publish an unlimited number of articles in SPIE journals open access at no additional cost. This provision applies to all journals of the professional society, including the Gold Open Access journals. Publication is under the CC BY license.

Springer Nature
The contract between THM and Springer Nature within the framework of the DEAL project, with a duration from 2024 to 2028, enables THM researchers to publish articles in Open Access in subscription journals (Open Choice) free of charge.

Hybrid Open Access (Springer Open Choice)
Free open access publishing of research and non-research articles is possible in most subscription journals (column H: "Hybrid (Open Choice)"). However, for specialist medical journals, only the following publication types are eligible: Original Paper, Review Paper, Brief Communication.
Gold Open Access
Publishing in genuine Springer Nature Gold journals (see column H: "Fully Open Access") is not free for researchers. A discount of 20% is usually granted.

The contract between THM and Wiley within the framework of the DEAL project, with a duration of 2024-2028, enables THM researchers to publish Open Access in subscription journals (Online Open) free of charge.

Hybrid Open Access (Wiley OnlineOpen)
Free open access publishing of research articles and reviews is possible in most subscription journals (see "included" table, column G: "HOA").
A few Wiley journals are not included in the agreement (see "excluded" table).
Gold Open Access
Publishing in genuine Gold Wiley journals (see the "included" table, column G: "OA") is not free for researchers. A discount of 20% is typically granted.
