How do I get to THM (main building) and BliZ by public transport?
First of all, we would like to point out that those of you who have a severely disabled pass and can use public transport free of charge do not have to pay for the RMV ticket.
Please visit the ASTA to apply for a refund for the RMV ticket you paid for in advance.
Of course, there are countless ways to get to THM barrier-free. Here we show you how to get to us from Giessen train station by public transport.
As the walking route to THM is described from the administrative centre, we will first show you how to get to the administrative centre.
The THM site plan can provide you with visual assistance.
You will also find the THM buildings and a campus map as a 3D model at our inclusive centre.
From Giessen Central Station to THM
Arrival by bus line 2 (towards Eichendorffring)
Take line 2 to the Berliner Platz stop. From there, walk back in the opposite direction to the next traffic lights.
Cross the traffic lights to the right. Please note that this is a road with a traffic island.
There is also a traffic light on the traffic island. Both traffic lights are controlled independently of each other, so that a separate signal request is required on the island and it is therefore not usually possible to cross the intersection in one go.
Once you have crossed, turn left. Then walk to the right until you reach the bus shelter at the next bus stop, Behördenzentrum.
Arrival by bus line 5 (towards Wieseck)
Take line 5 to the Behördenzentrum stop.

Once you arrive at the location "Behördenzentrum", walk in the direction of the bus until you reach the next traffic lights. Cross at the first traffic lights on the left and you will reach the traffic island. Cross the next traffic lights diagonally to the right.
After crossing, walk straight ahead for about 50 to 70 steps. The entrance to building A10 is on the right-hand side. Walk straight ahead through the stairwell until you reach the stairs and go up two flights of stairs. Turn 90 degrees to the left and walk straight ahead through the glass door. You are now in the corridor at our inclusive centre BliZ.

If you use the lift, walk straight ahead through the room and you will come to the adjacent corridor where our premises are located.
