Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Taragona (Spain)
In context of this partnership, students can participate in joint research projects in the realm of microelectronic devices, and exceptionally qualified THM graduates are given the opportunity to participate in a master programm with subsequent doctorate.
Scientific works take place in cooperation with further european partners from the industry and the academia.

Universidad de Jaén, Andalusia (Spain)
In 2012, the Departamento de Ingeniería de Telecomunicación in Andalusia, Spain, and the THM agreed on a cooperation contract. Part of the mutual activities are the joint ICE master programm giving students the opportunity of a double degree, the opportunity of a promotion for exceptionally qualified ICE graduates, the scientific support of doctoral students, semesters abroad and lecturer mobility.

Universidad de la Habana (Cuba)
In March of 1999, the Technical University of Havanna and the THM agreed on a cooperation contract. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) encourages this partnership and supports the exchange of students and professors from both academies. 
Objectives of this partnership are, among others, the joint development of the current education for electrical engineers, the cross-recognition of degrees and the joint research in the realms of energy technology and telecommunications.
