During a 13-week long phase of work experience – the so called Berufspraktische Phase (BPP) – we encourage and expect you to learn more about working in a real company and working on a real project. Often in addition with the subsequent Bachelor thesis (which also takes 13 weeks), students have the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice during a considerable time period.

Before starting the BPP, students are required to have successfully completed the project work Projektarbeit and all modules up to and including the sixth semester (a maximum of 45 CrPs may be missing).

At the end of the BPP as well as at the end of the Bachelor thesis phase, a written elaboration has to be handed in and an oral presentation has to be held.

Additional information can be downloaded from the yellow box.
