Between which specialization fields of the "Electrical Engineering and Information Technology" and "Electrical Engineering for Renewable Energies" Bachelor's programs can I choose? Where can I find work as an engineer? Which companies specializing in automation technologies can be found in the Middle Hesse region? Is a Bachelor's degree sufficient enough to jumpstart one's career?
These and many more questions were asked by prospective students at our department's stand during the "Advisory Evening in Gießen."
On July 6, shortly before the admissions submission deadline, students had the opportunity to learn about all of THM's departments and degree programs. Prof. Frey and Prof. Schröder brought two autonomous robots, a cocktail machine and a segway with them – all of which were designed, built and programed by our department's students. Two of our students were in attendance and provided participants with additional insider knowledge about what it is like to study at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering.
