University graduates of electrical engineering and information technology are sought after like never before. To quote the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (ZVEI): "The future lies in electronics and students of electrical engineering and information technology have excellent career prospects." According to projections, 14,000 newly-created jobs in the electronic engineering sector will remain vacant annually.
