Study contents Bachelor Medical Management

The study program offers a variety of subjects. The course of studies contents the medical fundamentals of the structure and function of the human body as well as diagnostics and
therapy. In addition, the fundamentals of infrastructure and information systems in the health care system are thermalized within the framework of the study program. The following
subject areas are also included:
 
  • medical ethics
  • data protection and data security
  • mathematical-statistical methods
  • methods of scientific work in the health care system
  • business administration and health economics fundamentals and
  • management-relevant content such as self-, team and leadership skills or quality management.
Specialized management knowledge is further deepened in the study focus areas.

Study program    

In the following, the courses of the study program are listed. The number indicates the respective hours-per-week and the number of credit points for each subject.
 
Elective modules of the specializations: Starting in the 5th semester, students choose their major field of study and take seven elective modules from the respective portfolio of
specializations.
 
The 7-semester program enables students to complete the practical work phase, the project phase and the bachelor's thesis in health care institutions.
