Am 18. Oktober 2024 begaben sich unsere neuen Master-Studierenden des Studiengangs Control, Computer & Communications Engineering (CCCE) auf ein spannendes Abenteuer außerhalb des Campus. Ziel war Rüdesheim am malerischen Rhein, wo eine Vielzahl von Entdeckungen auf sie wartete.
Mit der Bahn erreichten sie die idyllische Stadt Rüdesheim und tauchten sofort in die faszinierende Welt des Rheintals ein. Ein Höhepunkt des Tages war die Schifffahrt auf dem Rhein von Rüdesheim nach St. Goarshausen, während der sie sich an der atemberaubenden Aussicht auf Burgen und Ruinen, auf bunte Weinberge und malerische Städtchen erfreuten.
Nach der Schifffahrt brachte die Seilbahn die Gruppe von Assmannshausen zum Jagdschloss Niederwald. Von dort wanderte die Gruppe entlang des oberen Rheintal-Randes durch den Niederwald. Diese Verbindung von Naturerlebnis und kulturellen Sehenswürdigkeiten wie dem imposanten Niederwalddenkmal mit der Statue der "Germania" machte den Tag zu einem tollen Erlebnis für alle Teilnehmenden.
Der Tagesausflug nach Rüdesheim war nicht nur eine willkommene Abwechslung vom Hochschulalltag, sondern bot auch die Gelegenheit, das Gemeinschaftsgefühl innerhalb der CCCE-Studigruppe zu stärken und gemeinsame Erinnerungen zu schaffen.

Day Trip of CCCE Students to Rüdesheim on the Rhine
On October 18, 2024, our new Master's students of the Control, Computer & Communications Engineering (CCCE) program at the University of Applied Sciences Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen embarked on an exciting adventure outside the campus. Their destination was Rüdesheim on the picturesque Rhine, where a variety of discoveries awaited them.
They reached the idyllic town of Rüdesheim by train and immediately immersed themselves in the fascinating world of the Rhine Valley. A highlight of the day was the boat trip on the Rhine from Rüdesheim to St. Goarshausen, during which they enjoyed the breathtaking views of castles and ruins, colorful vineyards and picturesque little towns.
After the boat trip, the cable car took the group from Assmannshausen to the Niederwald hunting lodge. From there, the group hiked along the upper edge of the Rhine Valley through the Niederwald forest. This combination of nature experience and cultural sights such as the impressive Niederwalddenkmal with the statue of "Germania" made the day a great experience for all participants.
The day trip to Rüdesheim was not only a welcome break from the university routine but also provided an opportunity to strengthen the sense of community within the CCCE student group and create shared memories.
We are already looking forward to more exciting excursions and shared adventures in the academic year!
