Research Interests
My scientific interests are centered on developing MRI technology for clinical and scientific investigation. The broad aim of my work is to increase the sensitivity of the MR imaging modality in order to improve human health. One particular area of interest is the new instrumental development to acquire MRI data in a highly parallel fashion and enable imaging at previously inaccessible speed and sensitivity. Much of my current research seeks to meet the challenges and realize the promise of ultra-high field MR, through the development of new detectors and transmitter designs. My work aims to establish proof-of-concept ideas in MRI instrumentation closer to clinical settings.
