Icmadophila-ericetorum Icmadophila ericetorum (L.) Zahlbr.
On freshly exposed soil and rotting wood.
Thallus granular; apothecia pale red, margin thick but becoming excluded when older. Thallus K+ yellow, apothecia K+ orange (see lower photo), KC+ orange, Pd+ orange. Similar to Baeomyces roseus but this species has usually mushroom like fruiting bodies. It resembles also to Trapeliopsis granulosa when infertil but Trapeliopsis has soredia and the C reaction of the thallus is red.
Sweden: Dalarna.

No thallus, parasitic on Diploschistes scruposus; apothecia up to 0,6 mm, black; spores one septate.
