After a genetical analysis by Ulf Arup (Sweden) it seems to be a species close to Caloplaca aetnenis. Unfortunately the amount of material is limited to one finding place only. In order to present convincing data for a new species it needs more material. Jan Vondrak gave it a provisional name "Caloplaca patellifera". He knows it from Turkey, Greece and Italy. I have taken over this preliminary title. |
