About Cooperative PhD:

THM is famous for the cooperative PhD program where one of the PhD supervisors is from THM. Until now, over 100 PhDs have been completed (https://www.thm.de/site/en/forschung/wissenschaftlicher-nachwuchs/abgeschlossene-promotionen.html). Among other leadership positions, some of the PhD graduates became professors in different universities in Germany.

Pre-requisite for a Cooperative PhD:

1. Admission in a PhD Program: The candidate has got acceptance in a PhD program of a local university. The PhD degree will be provided by the local university.

2. Agreed PhD Topic: The PhD topic is agreed between the supervisors of the local university and THM.

Benefits:

1) The quality of the PhD work of the candidate will be ensured.

2) The student will be able to work sometimes in THM by the self-, local-, national- and international- fundings.

3) Optional: During the visit in THM, the students will be able to work in an industry (will be organized by me).

4) At the end of the PhD completion, a recommendation letter will be provided by the THM supervisor.
