Short Description

Basics of neurology; Introduction to basic verbal and non-verbal communication and communications theory; Communication methods, feedback, self-perception and perception by others; Introduction of personality psychology.

Learning Objectives

The students will know about the meaning of communication in both the working environment and private life. They will know about the verbal and non-verbal of communication, and will be able to use them in contemporary communiction situations. The students will learn the basics of leading constructive conversations in difficult situations.

  • Basics of neurology
  • Communications theory (transactional analysis) and its application using current technology
  • Introduction to formal verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Basics of positive communication methods from preparation to completion (checklist)
  • Interaction with and use of feedback from communication partners
  • Self-awareness and perception by others
  • Difficult conversation partners and introduction of personality psychology
