Short Description
Application of agile software depelopment methods in the development of location-based services for mobile devices.
Learning Objectives

The students know the typical application scenarios for LBS sys-tems and the available localization methods and techniques. They know how to specify and realize a modular LBS system from a set of specific requirements. They are able to apply agile software development methods and to write scientific publications. They can lead a small team and broadly organize the coordination of the entire project team on its own.

Contents
Evaluation of localization methods for mobile devices. Design and Implementation of a modular distributed system for location-based services using platform independent communication frameworks. Practical application of agile software development methods. Evaluation of accessibility criteria for mobile devices.
