IT-Practice, tools of office communication
Learning Objectives

Participants will be introduced to the systems and tools associated with office communication and the relevant
terminology. They will subsequently be required to apply these tools for solving specific tasks that occur in a business
environment.

Contents

Introduction to data processing, including the terminology of office communication systems and their respective aims as
well as typical office tasks and ways of supporting them. Use and application of word processing, tables, charts, graphics
for presentations and layouts, individual databases, DTP systems, e-mail, computer-assisted time-management,
workgroup computing and multimedia systems. Explanation of features for linking the above-mentioned systems.
