  • Short Description
The course is a project which aims at the development of an information system offering location-based services and navigation for mobile devices with an emphasis on barrier-free usability.
    Learning Objectives

The students have experience with requirements analysis and design of complex information systems with mobile devices and location-based services. They are familiar with a mobile platform and with the technical capabilities of current smartphones. They are able to apply agile software development methods and to write scientific publications. They can lead a small team and broadly organize the coordination of the entire project team on its own.

Within a project the students use agile methods to design and implement a mobile information system with location-based services and in- and outdoor navigation, which can be used barrier-free even for blind users.
