Short Description

This module aims to reflect, professionally prepare, present the learning process of a study or professional stay abroad and to make accessible for other students with current communicational technologies. Therefore the student should prepare their stay abroad consciously, document it accompanying, evaluate conclusively and prepare assistance for future internationally studying students.

This module aims to reflect, professionally prepare, present the learning process of a study or professional stay abroad and to make accessible for other students with current communicational technologies.

Contents

Presentation of motivation, selection and planning of a stay abroad and creating regular multimedia documentation of said stay. Reflection of stay abroad by creating a report (also online) and a presentation (also as a video). Online campaign "GoAbroad" for conveying experience gained during the time spent abroad, mainly for other students.

Requirements for the awarding of Credit Points

Examination prerequisite:

  • exposé about motivations, selection and planning of a stay abroad
  • weekly documentation of the stay abroad in German and in a foreign language (for example as a blog or an e-portfolio)
  • drawing up and carrying out an online campaign (for example as a social media campaign or a wiki)

Examination: essay (foreign-language final evaluation report, approx. 10 pages) and presentation (speech about culture and/or subject-related information about the host country, approx. 20 min.) (together 100%)
