  • Short Description
    Students gain professional knowledge on protocol architecture and functional principles of internets. Topics are: packetized data transfer, ethernet, TCP/IP- internetworking, client-server paradigm, internet protocols and application-services.
    Learning Objectives

    Students understand architecture and working principles of computer networks with a focus on Internet. Because of that that exemplary treatment of application services they are capable to understand and resolve problems in constituent courses.

    • Principles of reliable data transfer
    • Ethernet basics
    • Internetworking with IP und TCP
