Development of corporate banking, basics of corporate finance, loan business and risk management, structured finance and capital market financing alternatives
Learning Objectives

Participants will gain an overview about the development of corporate banking and theoretical approaches for optimizing capital structures. Therefore participants will design alternativ financing tools; qualitativ and qantitativ with classical corporate procedures for analysing and evaluateing. They understand how ratingsystems and risk management processes can be operated and monitored. They understand other corporate banking entry points as cash management and company pension. Participants will use and develop tools of scientific work and they practice teamwork through joint prepared presentations and seminarpapers.

Contents

Development of corporate banking and stratigical meaning; Basic of financing theory; aspects of credit business: factoring and leasing, bank regulations, rating, risk management;

Corporate finance affairs: project financing, asset-backed-securities, ways of funding on capital markets, equity acquisition on venture capital and private equity, mezzanies capital, other requirement- related starting points for corporate banking like cash management and company pension.
