Following the great success of the first CampusDialog Energy at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM), the public lecture series continues on Wednesday, July 15th. This time it will focus on the opportunities and risks of municipal energy and water supply.

The heat wave at the end of June prompted numerous municipalities across Germany to call for water conservation. While the heat has subsided, the crisis in Germany's water supply persists in many places. In the CampusDialog Energy, Lara Eicher and Anne-Sophie Patzig from the Marburg municipal utilities discuss resilient drinking water supply, using Marburg as an example.

The second lecture addresses a topic that seems far away given the heat, yet is all the more important in light of the crisis-ridden gas supply situation: Johannes Eckhardt from THM speaks about “Municipal heat supply: Opportunities and risks through transformation and municipal heat planning”.
