The finalists
BUYES - Reviews without expiration date
A true game-changer for anyone who values durability! Instead of one-off star ratings, it captures real long-term experiences and documents each device in a digital product passport, showing whether products still work after years.
The idea comes from David Sayk, a computer scientist with practical experience.
Mousy Kitchen Intelligence
MousyAI combats food waste in the kitchen. You scan receipts or product barcodes and MousyAI does the rest. It warns you about expiring products and directly generates suitable recipes from the ingredients you already have.
The idea comes from family man and mechanical engineering student Amir Hossein Mansouri Koshkghazi.
Graphics - Custom graphics on demand
Creating professional graphics quickly and easily, even without design knowledge, is no longer just a dream with Draphics. Starting with templates and a few clearly structured inputs, the graphic is automatically adjusted and ready to use immediately.
The idea comes from digital business economist Leon Düllmann.
BIPM
BIPM combines the BIM model, schedule, and Further construction progress into a continuously updated digital twin of the project. This makes construction progress, delays, and key performance indicators visible in a model-based manner, enabling more transparent, efficient, and sustainable management of construction projects.
The idea comes from civil engineer Marc Weber.
BioCore MEC - Compact greywater bioreactor for urban buildings
BioCore MEC is developing a compact bioreactor combining biological purification and electrical engineering. The aim is to purify greywater from showers and sinks directly within the building, thus enabling local water reuse.
The idea comes from MBUILD student Manu Rao Vengeta Rao.
Greenliner - Climate experience on wheels
Greenliner aims to make climate change tangible. In four solar-powered containers, visitors can experience the climate: icy winds, extreme heat, the silence of species extinction, and an AI simulation of their own future in the trash.
The idea comes from sustainability management students Marina Becker, Natalie Knirsch and Celine Jung.
SnakeSecure
SnakeSecure is a modular, reusable marten protection system for vehicles that permanently protects sensitive hoses and cables from marten bites. The aim is to reduce repair costs, avoid unnecessary material waste, and offer an animal-friendly alternative to existing protection systems.
The idea comes from mechanical engineering student Tobias Schunk and Phillipp Hirsch.
ORUS 2.0 - Multimodal Predictive Care Intelligence System for Inpatient Long-Term Care
ORUS 2.0 is the first predictive, EU-AI-Act compliant AI layer for inpatient long-term care: It identifies 8 clinical risks per resident — by fusing free text nursing information, vital data, medication and assessments into explainable risk indicators.
The idea comes from mechatronics/robotics student Guerech Saitiev Soh Womagam, who has experience in AI research.
Carbon Lock-in System
Carbon Lock-In System is a digital circular economy platform for small and medium-sized enterprises. Every physical household appliance is
linked via QR code, NFC, or RFID to a permanent digital product record. This record contains information on materials, components, spare parts, repair options, take-back procedures, and recycling options. A discarded appliance thus becomes a traceable asset for raw materials, spare parts, and compliance.
The idea comes from sustainability management students Henrik Brück, Linda Elisabeth Rothensee and Luis Böttcher.
