To fulfill our tasks, the central women's representatives for Giessen, Friedberg, and Wetzlar are supported by the Departmentsworking decentralized women's representatives . The tasks and responsibilities of the decentralized Departmentin a set of regulations documented

Our ongoing tasks include, in particular:

  • Realizing equal opportunities for women and men at THM
  • Improving the work-life balance of women and men at THM
  • Counseling and support for women in discrimination and conflict situations at the workplace
  • Quality assurance of equality in personnel selection and appointment procedures
  • Participation in the development of gender-equitable personnel development
  • Participation in THM committees
  • University representation in various networks
