Block course German as a Technical Language February-March 2026 (the course belongs to the winter semester!)
In February and March 2026, the language center will again offer the Electivecourse "German as a Technical Language C1" as a block course.
This is a block course for international students. It will be offered from February 23rd to 28th, 2026 at the Friedberg campus.
Participation in both weeks is mandatory in order for the CrP to be awarded.

Individual consultation in German as a foreign language
Who can come?
This free service is aimed at all those interested who need/want a focus on writing in German as a foreign language for their academic writing project or written communication within the university.
What does the consultation offer?
- Support with all study-related text types (including emails, applications) and in all writing phases (orientation, planning, structuring, formulation, revision)
- Receive feedback on your own text (e.g., scientific style, problems with the formulation in German)
- Successful collaborative text creation requires active participation from the student: reflecting on their own writing, formulating goals, and defining work steps (solution-oriented)
- Learn writing techniques and strategies and improve your own skills
- One-off consultation or support over a longer period
- This consultation does not mean that work will be proofread!
