Dates for English language proficiency tests

If you need proof of language proficiency for a semester abroad or an internship abroad, you can take the DAAD placement test .

Please note: This test only provides an approximate assessment of your current language level. It does not serve as an entrance examination for university studies.

For students at both locations

Please note: The registration deadline for the online placement test is 3 working days before the respective date!

Please register directly with the responsible examiner.

Please use only your THM email address . Your email should contain the following information:

• last name
• study programme
• for what purpose you need the language certificate
• Approximate indication of your prior knowledge of the target language

If you are currently taking a language course at our university, the respective lecturer may also be able to issue you the language certificate.
