Teaching assignments are awarded to employees and external individuals to supplement the existing curriculum. Lecturers are self-employed and work part-time; a university degree is generally a prerequisite for being awarded a teaching assignment.

Teaching assignments are awarded on a semester basis. Applications and assignments are submitted before the start of the semester, and the instructor settles the billing after the course has ended. Remuneration depends, among other things, on the amount of marking required.
