Arriving successfully: Support for newly appointed clergy
A professorship requires a supportive environment from the outset. We aim to create a setting where new colleagues feel well-supported, both professionally and personally. Therefore, the Center for Cooperative Teaching and Learning (ZekoLL) has developed and successfully implemented established support structures for newly appointed professors. A professorship can often necessitate a relocation for the entire family, and we are here to provide expert guidance in this area as well.
Onboarding program
The structured onboarding program for newly appointed professors is located at the Center for Cooperative Teaching and Learning (Zekoll) and is designed to facilitate your entry into the university and your diverse new responsibilities as a professor. You can individually tailor your program to your needs from a wide range of information and networking events.
Furthermore, the mentoring program for newly appointed professors is a voluntary, supportive service in which a professor from THM (mentor) accompanies and advises a newly appointed colleague (mentee) during the onboarding process.
