Central Events | Marketing

THM 's central events are designed to present an authentic and vibrant image of the university. They give THM a publicly visible presence and are aimed, depending on the occasion, at university members, external audiences, and/or THMalumni.

Another key task of event management is providing subject-matter-specific advice to the presidium 's executive board and THMmembers on contemporary event formats. Furthermore, we coordinate cross- department event activities around the THM campuses in Friedberg, Giessen , and Wetzlar.

As part of project-related university cooperation, we also participate in the conception and implementation of events outside the THMlocations and implement our own events for image cultivation and science communication with students and scientists as well as external stakeholders.

Central events and marketing - key responsibilities:

  • Planning and implementation of central university events and activities in the field of university marketing (offline/online measures)
  • Consulting and conceptual support for central departments and Departments in the development of event formats
  • Representation of the university in external associations and working groups on the topic of university marketing
  • Interface for internal and external inquiries in the areas of events and university marketing, as well as coordination of these activities within THM
