This year's FORUM schule@hochschule, focusing on the theme "From the classroom to the lecture hall: Challenges and support on the path from school to university studies", took place on February 25, 2026 at THM in Giessen . 

The next FORUM schule@hochschule is expected to take place in spring 2027.

What is the FORUM school@university?

The FORUM schule@hochschule (school@university) is a joint initiative of THM Hesse) and Justus Liebig University Giessen. It offers an annual opportunity for ongoing networking, exchange, and continuous collaboration on the topic of study orientation at the working level between universities, secondary schools, and vocational schools. Students benefit from this in their study orientation, and the interface between schools and universities in the Central Hesse region is strengthened.

The FORUM school@university invites you to

• to stay informed about new developments and changes in both educational institutions,
• to learn about best-practice examples,
• to establish personal contacts,
• to discuss key topics in depth
• to agree on individual collaborations and
• to jointly develop ideas for shaping the transition.

From whom, for whom?

All teachers from grammar schools and vocational schools, as well as representatives from the two participating universities, are invited. Formal membership is not required for participation.
