Purpose of processing
The photos and/or videos are used exclusively for the public relations purposes of the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen . Your name, along with your consent to the image recordings, will be stored and used solely to protect the rights to the aforementioned images.
Legal basis for processing
The processing of photos and/or videos (collection, storage, transfer to third parties, and publication) is based on the explicit consent of the data subject(s) in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. The publication of selected image files in (print) publications of THM , as well as on its website, etc., is necessary for the public relations work of the organizer and for providing information about studies and teaching, and serves the legitimate interests pursued by the organizer(s) in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Categories of recipients of personal data
The photos and/or videos may be shared with service providers involved in the production of print products. This includes agencies and printing companies involved in the production process. For online publication purposes, they may be posted on the THM website and used on THM 's social media channels.
Duration of storage of personal data
Photos and/or videos taken for the public relations purposes of THM will be stored indefinitely for specific purposes, subject to the revocation of the consent of the person(s) concerned.
Right of withdrawal with consent
Consent to the processing of photos and/or videos can be withdrawn at any time for the future. The lawfulness of data processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal remains unaffected.
Data subject rights
If your personal data is processed, you, as a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR, have the following rights against the controller:

- Right to rectification,
- Right to erasure,
- Right to restriction of processing,
- Right to withdraw your consent,
- Right to object to processing,
- Right to data portability in a commonly used, structured and machine-readable format
Rights and complaint options
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
The supervisory authority with which the complaint has been lodged shall inform the complainant of the progress and outcome of the complaint, including the possibility of a judicial remedy pursuant to Article 78 GDPR.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority of the state of Hesse regarding data protection issues.
