In this predominantly English -language master's degree, you will learn to recognize sustainability -relevant fields of action in various industries and to develop innovative technical or entrepreneurial solutions.
As a graduate, you are able to conceive sustainability strategies, implement and communicate effectively. They enable a constructive dialogue between decision -makers and stakeholders and successfully conduct organizations through the transformation process. Design a future worth living by actively developing and implementing positive changes in a wide variety of companies, NGOs and other areas.

Purchase and deepen comprehensive specialist knowledge and interdisciplinary approaches to achieve sustainability goals based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS). You will learn how to integrate technical, economic and social aspects through systemic thinking and develop innovative solutions for the challenges of the future. Through practical projects and interdisciplinary teamwork, you gain valuable competencies in transformation processes in the sense of the Challenge-Based Learning. As graduates, you bring your gathered experience from the processing of the challenges directly in companies, organizations and NGOs in order to actively act as a designer of change in the global sustainability debate.

Sustainability already plays a central role in business, industry and society. This will increase significantly in the future by the large transformation tasks (energy and raw material turn, climate protection, mobility transition and others).
With the successful completion of the master's degree, diverse and interesting career opportunities open up in various industries. As the design of change, they have extensive qualifications that enable them to successfully integrate technical, economic and social aspects of sustainability in companies and institutions. In this way you can implement relevant, meaningful and sustainable transformation processes.
Possible fields of activity:
- sustainability management: They develop and implement strategies for achieving environmental and climate goals in companies and organizations.
- Project management: In this role, you conduct transformation projects - from product development to sustainable redesign of production and supply chains.
- Product development and innovation: They design sustainable products and services and develop innovative business areas.
- Change processes: They drive the transformation of companies into sustainable business, sustainable products and technologies.
- Advice and consulting: They support companies and organizations in finding and implementing sustainable solutions for complex challenges, be it in the field of environmental technology, renewable energies or circular economy.
- Research and Development: In this function, you work on innovative technologies and concepts that enable a sustainable future, for example in the area of mobility, energy or resource management.
- NGOs and international organizations: As part of non -governmental organizations or global institutions, you can participate in the design and implementation of sustainability initiatives at regional, national and global level.
