The master’s degree in Digital Medicine focuses on the topics that are necessary for digitization in the healthcare system. It builds on a completed bachelor's or diploma degree in the health sector. The Master's degree then enables you to carry out scientific research and take on strategic and managerial tasks in the field of digital medicine. The course is divided into three main areas: Medical Data Science, Applied Medical Sciences, Regulatory Affairs Management.
The Further of technology and the digitalization of communication, procedures, and processes are also affecting medicine. Ever-increasing amounts of data and their interconnectedness offer unprecedented new possibilities for diagnostics, therapy, and prevention. We want to help shape these new possibilities for the benefit of patients, together with physicians and other healthcare stakeholders. Our nationwide unique teaching hospital (BDH) in Braunfels and our application laboratories in the state-of-the-art simulation clinic of the Department of Health in Giessen provide an excellent foundation for this.
