course of study
In the Future Skills and Innovation master's programme, there is a continuous alternation of coordinated projects and learning phases.
The course starts with the interdisciplinary cooperation project (see graphic), in which the cross-functional project teams are supervised by an expert board consisting of professorial mentors. The focus here is on the development of knowledge networks. Depending on the professional fit, one of the board members supervises a student as a mentor over the entire duration of the course in the individual project and the master's thesis.
In the individual project, the students focus on current issues of the partner company. The knowledge transfer takes place with innovative didactic concepts (learning by need, inverted classroom) and needs-based. Extensive and independent self-study phases characterize this master’s degree. Students should have a high degree of self-motivation and independence. What is new about this Master's course is that the course enables learning independent of time and place.
