practical orientation
As in the event management and technology bachelor’s degree, the master’s degree places great value on practical relevance in teaching. The courses are held by experienced professors and lecturers and supported by lectures by and with cooperation partners and practitioners. In addition, practical and, above all, research projects offer you the opportunity to apply and expand your knowledge in an application-oriented manner. In addition to corporate and employee management in the event industry, event security, innovative event formats, innovative media technology and the measurement of the event's impact are taken into account and brought together in a joint project of the year in the second semester. So you implement an interdisciplinary project on the basis of the theoretical input and in this context explicitly train your team and communication skills, your commitment and also your leadership skills through employee motivation and leadership.
In the third semester it is of course possible to write the master's thesis in cooperation with companies in the event industry and thus independently promote the transfer of research into practice.
In addition, interested parties who, for example, have not yet completed the Event Management and Technology bachelor’s degree, have the opportunity to benefit from exciting lectures by representatives from the field as part of the regular “Tuesday series”. The speakers of the "Tuesday series" deal with a wide variety of current industry topics, ranging from the development of event concepts and innovative technical staging to lectures by associations such as FAMAB, AUMA and VPLT.
