The Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen offers its students additional offers with which they can qualify in addition to the regular courses.

In quality management, the focus is on the quality of the value-added processes. Optimizing them is seen as an indispensable prerequisite for a successful appearance on the national and international market. Only those who are able to quickly implement and reliably meet new requirements in such an environment will be able to assert themselves in the future. Smooth running processes and satisfied customers guarantee the success of a company. A well-functioning quality management system is an essential factor in continuously identifying potential for improvement and integrating it into the processes.

The offer is aimed at students of all Degree Courses .
Prerequisite: Quality management course (5 CrP) successfully completed.

The REFA association is a non-profit organization with the purpose of promoting science and education in the areas of work design, company organization and corporate development. Students at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen can complete the REFA basic training 2.0, which was newly developed in 2013. The REFA method is coordinated to ensure consistency of training. Its content is geared towards current practical requirements.

The colloquium “Current Topics in Business Informatics” takes place in the winter semester. Speakers from the field give lectures on current and interesting topics.

The event is open and will also be announced in the press.
Participation is free of charge. Registration is not required.

The learning center offers support for subjects from the first two semesters of all Friedberger Degree Courses .

Based on current events in the near and distant cosmos, topics are on the programme to introduce the basics of astronomy, but also to deal with demanding astrophysical questions. The event is open to students of all Degree Courses as well as guest auditors.

The tutor programme from the Center for Cooperative Teaching and Learning (ZekoLL) is aimed at all tutors involved in teaching as well as interested students and prepares them for their work as tutors.
In addition to thematically diverse workshops, the offer also includes the possibility of individual advice and support for tutor assignments through shadowing. Furthermore, tutoring can be recognized as an elective module.
