Online self-assessments (OSA) are Internet-based study orientation offers for prospective students and serve as initial support for your study decision. These tests are about self-assessment of your own abilities and interests. Please note, however, that study interest tests are only the first building block in the entire study selection process and that you should not make a study choice decision based solely on the test results. your Central students advisory service will be happy to support you!

Using general orientation tests, you can find out for yourself what your interests and skills are and which Degree Courses fit your personal profile. We have put together a few selected study interest tests for you here. Participation is free and anonymous.
The detailed one - "Check U" - The employment agency's exploration tool
The employment agency's self-discovery tool offers an in-depth examination of one's own skills and areas of interest. This test is an analysis of your own abilities, supplemented with test tasks (logical thinking, mathematical skills, creativity, etc.). The duration of the test is about 2 hours.
The all-rounder - study interest test by HRK and ZEIT ONLINE
The study interest test SIT of the German Rectors' Conference (HRK) and ZEIT ONLINE serves as a first orientation for those who want to know which study programmes suit your interests. After the test, a Germany-wide database of all Degree Courses ( hochschulkompass.de) shows the most suitable Degree Courses . The duration of the test is about 20 minutes.
The quick study interest test from was-studiere-ich.de
This test was created for the universities of the state of Baden-Württemberg, but also offers prospective students at Hessian universities a good first insight into their own skills and possible areas of interest. The duration of the test is about 10 minutes.
THM online self-assessments
The subject-specific OSAs of the THM serve to find out and to compare one's own ideas, interests and abilities with the challenges of a specific course. Tasks and information about course content and course structure will give you a more detailed insight into a course and you can find out for yourself whether the course you want to study suits your interests.
