About International Living

International Living, or "WG International" in German and abbreviated WGI, is an initiative of people whose activities have an impact on society. It promotes openness towards international students seeking a flat as well as the establishment of intercultural contacts.

A flat share is a group of people who live together in a house or a flat and share household activities. We at "WG International" promote shared flats and are convinced of their many advantages. On this page we would like to address anyone looking for a flat as well as people wishing to offer flats.

About Us

"WG International" was established with the aim to improve the situation international students find themselves in when they study abroad and to promote openness towards this group of students. The initiative is part of the activities pursued by the International Office and represents an important component of the university's intercultural integration policy, known as "intercultural opening".

"WG International“ has the following aims:

  • Promote international shared flats and make intercultural contacts possible
  • Support international students looking for a flat
  • Create visibility for the task of accommodating international students
  • Act as contact partner for people interested in offering a flat for rent
