Was genau ist das Internationale Buddy Programm (IBP)? Wie kann ich mich engagieren? Was erwartet mich wenn ich am IBP teilnehme? Alle Interessierten sind herzlich eingeladen! Hier gibt es Einblicke in Ablauf und Programm, und es gibt Antwort auf alle Fragen.

• Sa. 12.10.19. Semester Kick-off: Meet & Greet mit einem internationalen Bring-and-Share-Buffet.

16:30 Uhr | Lokal International| Eichendorfring 111, Gießen.

Hier heißen wir alle willkommen! Wir laden euch ganz herzlich ein zum Semester Kick Off: Meet & Greet mit internationalem Mitbring-Buffet. Beim Meet & Greet habt ihr die Möglichkeit eure/n Buddy besser kennenzulernen, falls noch nicht geschehen ist, sowie Kontakt zu den anderen Teilnehmern*Innen aufzubauen. Im Laufe des Abends bekommt ihr mehr Informationen über das IBP und unseren diesjährigen Exkursionen und Workshops. Ebenfalls habt ihr die Gelegenheit THM-Preise wie z.B. T-Shirts und Tassen zu gewinnen!

Der Abend wird abgerundet durch ein internationales Buffet, das wir mit euch zusammen gestalten möchten. Bitte bringt, wenn möglich hierzu etwas mit, das ihr gerne kocht, das typisch für euer Land ist oder einfach etwas Gekauftes.

Um die ersten Kontakte zu knüpfen zu THM Studierende und Studieninteressierten aus aller Welt, haben wir für euch ein paar Kennenlernspiele vorbereitet. Kommt vorbei, um miteinander ins Gespräch zu kommen. Die Buddy-Teilnehmenden haben auch eine Gelegenheit selbst einen Buddy zu finden und Buddy-Teams zu bilden.

Die Vizepräsidentin der THM Prof. Dr. Katja Specht begrüßt zusammen mit dem International Office alle neu immatrikulierte, internationale Studierende der THM. Hier heißen wir alle willkommen im Lokal International um 18 Uhr. Im Laufe der Abend präsentieren wir euch auch die Vereine und Gemeinde die alle internationale Studierende in der Region unterstutzen. Ihr habt die Möglichkeit, während der Veranstaltungen sich anzumelden.

The International Office would like to warmly welcome all students to the start of the new semester, especially all new students of the THM. What exactly is the International Buddy Programme (IBP)? How can I get involved? What awaits me when I attend the IBP? Everyone interested is invited! We will give you insights into the process of the programme and will gladly answer all questions.

Here everyone is welcome! We cordially invite you to the Semester Kick Off: Meet & Greet with international Buffet. The Meet & Greet gives you the opportunity to get to know your buddy better, if you haven't done so already, and to establish contacts with the other IBP-participants. In the course of the evening you will get more information about the IBP and our planned semester programme including excursions and workshops. Also, you will have the chance to win great THM prizes such as T-Shirts and mugs!

The evening will be rounded off by an international buffet, which we would like to arrange together with you. { If possible, please bring something with you that you like to cook, that is typical for your country or simply something you have bought }

• Wed., 16.10. Strangers Become Friends: Get-to-know-you evening.

Make the first connections with students and prospective students from around the world, we've prepared some get-to-know games for you.

Come by to share your international experiences. The Buddy-participants also have an opportunity to find a Buddy themselves and form Buddy Teams.

• Thu. 17.10. Welcome Reception for New International Students.

18:00 h | Local International| Eichendorfring 111, Giessen

The Vice President of the THM, Prof. Dr. Katja Specht, together with the International Office, welcomes all newly enrolled international students of the THM. Here we welcome all to the Lokal International at 6 pm. In the course of the evening we will also present you the associations and communities that support all international students in the region. You have the possibility to register during the events.
