International applicants of the THM attend the Studienkolleg Mittelhessen. You have courses in Giessen or Marburg depending on your course.
There are different preparatory colleges in Germany, you can also apply there. Please inform yourself.

At the end of the Studienkolleg (usually after one year) you will take the "Feststellungsprüfung". If you pass these exams, you will be admitted to the THM in the field of study for which you applied.
If you want to change your field of study later on, you have to make sure that your "Feststellungsprüfung" qualifies you for this subject! You can find an overview here. Otherwise you will have to take a "Supplementary Examination".
The enrollment confirmation is proof that you are studying at the THM . You can present this document to the health insurance, the Foreign Residence's Office ("Ausländerbehörde"), the "Studentenwerk", etc. You have to download this document yourself in E-Campus. To do this, you must first activate your THM account.
