Exchange students

COVID-19 pandemic
Please be aware of the new regulations for travelers to Germany. As of June 11, 2022, all COVID-19 entry restrictions to Germany will be provisionally lifted. However, if you have at any time within the last 10 days prior to entering Germany, stayed in a region classified as an "area of variants of concern", you are required to do the following:

1.Complete a digital entry declaration

2. Provide a negative test result (PCR, PoC-NAAT, etc).

The test result cannot be older than 48 hours to the time of your entry into Germany.

3. Quarantine upon arrival.

You are required to isolate yourself immediately for 14 days (home quarantine) upon arrival. This cannot be completed in the student dormitories. Therefore, an extra accommodation will have to be booked. A test for COVID, taken at the earliest after 5 days of quarantine, can end the quarantine if negative.

*These rules also apply to vaccinated and recovered individuals who have stayed in an "area of variants of concern" within the last 10 days prior to entering Germany.

Further information on areas of variants of concern can be found here (07.07.2022): https://www.rki.de/ risk areas
